I assumed “simple shopper” to mean walking into a store (as in one store) then back into the car and driving back home. Because as much as I love pumps I would never walk the mall for hours in them. Nope. But alas they’re referring to the bag; which I have been salivating over for months and knowing that I will never be able to afford one. But oh well.

One of the earliest articles published on Sade. She began her career as a model and fashion designer before becoming a singer-songwriter, composer and record producer. Sade the group is doing a world tour performing earlier songs as well as songs from their latest album. They performed last night in Austin and I didn’t want it to end. Here she shares her thoughts on style.

I forgot to mention that I have a new space for my casting calls that I mentioned back here. I was initially going to build a new website but thought, what the heck, I’ll just put it here.

Finally getting round to looking at images I took pics from a couple months ago. Our church community worked to raise money for our boy scouts to attend scout camp; and the young men Philmont.

I will have a new website up for casting calls. Casting calls are where I post for models of all ages for fashion and lifestyle shoots. And they need not be professional models. In the past I have traded with friends and models for their time and talent in return for images to build my (and their) portfolio. I also like to keep busy with personal projects. I will share the link shortly.

Images I took a couple years ago when our family visited Australia and New Zealand for six whole weeks. It’s not every year we get the opportunity to visit home, let alone for that long.

Went to the movies to watch Midnight in Paris. Of an aspiring novelist who thinks a certain period in life was the golden era. Then he meets someone from that era who thinks another previous time was golden, coming to the realisation that his own era has some things he couldn’t do without and learns to appreciate it. I’m like that when I look at styles from previous years until I realise how awful it must have been to wear so many layers.
